The book by Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump, "Why We Want You to be Rich" is a great read for people who would like to change their mindset about money and how they could get into the rich category over time.
There is something very interesting that is mentioned by Donald Trump when he talks about the entitlement mentality. He says that a lot of people mentioning specifically the USA have developed a mentality that they are entitled for a good life and the government/company is responsible for securing their future. This mentality has led people into a very big disaster and has contributed a great deal to the current economic situation.
If you think about this is applicable not only in terms of wealth but it is equally important in every aspect of life. If anyone starts over expecting something, he/she goes into a big disappointment when the expectation is not fulfilled and thus undergoes a chain of problems only because he has trained his mind to receive something which was unrealistic.
The point of wisdom really is that as an individual the more you expect the greater would be your disappointment but once you understand the concept that everything that you need has to be earned by you through education, working harder or any other way.

Earning Extra Income...
During these periods of economic recession any extra income that can be earned is a blessing and thus should be done since things are still under major fluctuations in the markets. If you are considering earning extra income but not sure how to do it, this is especially for you.
Every person who is beyond the age of 18-20 has acquired a set of skills through the years in school and college. Your job is first to identify those skills which could be sold, those skills for which people would pay money for. Example: if you love photography, take lots of pictures and selling it out to companies who buy them like (www.gulfimages.com), if you play a musical instrument well look out for band who would want a session player, if you were good in studies look out for people who would want extra coaching sessions from you.
If you think hard enough, there is something or the other that you as an individual would posses that is in demand in the market especially now since people are looking for more freelancer as compared to full timers to save on their expenses and this is thus a perfect opportunity for you to earn that extra income.
Here are some of the steps that could be followed: -
1.) Write down all the skills you have that could be in demand and identify at least three types of companies or individuals who would buy these skills
2.) Create short term goals for yourself so that you can keep on track like by next month you should be earning $XXX from your skills.

5.) In the coming days, try to visualize your goals and feel the passion and excitement with that extra income coming in. Your mind should be prepared to receive that extra income and then only it will happen…
