Neuro-Associative Conditioning

Today, I will be talking about an area of NLP which I learnt through the book of Anthony Robbins, Awaken the Giant Within. This concept is known as Neuro-Associative Conditioning (NAC).

The idea behind this is that if you associate pleasure with any activity the mind would want to do more of that and less of anything with which you associate pain. This is a very effective way of overcoming negative/ bad habits and developing productive habits.

The mind is a mechanism which will believe whatever is told to it with belief and passion. If for example you are addicted to tea and you want to get over that addiction. The best way to do that through the use of NAC is to associate negative things with tea, like vomiting, food poisoning, stomach ache etc. Try to visualize it and really feel that if you drink one more cup of tea you will be under immense pain and you would vomit. If this is done properly, your addiction of tea would be reduced and if done for a couple of days/weeks it would also help you to get over drinking tea for ever. (This is my true experiment, I was addicted to tea. Now I am not)....

This can literally work with anything...the bigger the addiction the more belief and passion would go into making it happen.....it surely will...
